The Importance of Water on Your Body

Almost everyone in your life and every book on this planet will tell you to drink plenty of water every day. Well, the consensus is too profound; indeed, you need to hydrate yourself appropriately. You need to make water your constant companion.

Here are few of the many reasons why you need to consume at least eight glasses of water each day.

1. Your body is approximately 70% water.
This means that you need to hydrate yourself if you want to keep your body healthy. Your brain, muscles and organs contain a large percentage of water. Your blood is mostly water. Nutrients and vitamins will not be properly absorbed if you do not have enough liquids in your system.

This then points to the fact that drinking water or other variations to it – in the form of other beverages – will help maintain a healthy and sound body. Otherwise, you’d have to empty your magnetic money clips and spend so much on medical bills.

2. You need to replace lost water.
Every day, you perspire, urinate and excrete. These physiological functions require water. So when you sweat, urinate or excrete, you are basically taking out water from your system. And since your body needs a certain level of water to function fully, then you need to drink some more to replace the lost quantities of H2O. Otherwise, you may be faced with all kinds of diseases and there’s nothing else that you can do except to use the card that’s long been kept on your money clip credit card holder.

The more active you are, then the more water that you need to consume. In essence, you need to drink more when you are exercising as compared to when you are simply spending a whole day in your office. You need to consume a few glasses more if you have been spending the contents on your gold money clips on expensive coffee or special teas.

Water is indeed an important element in the body. Notice when you get sick? The doctor always says: get some rest and drink plenty of water. When you get the colds, you do not even need to drink nasal decongestants, you simply have to take in more water – and load up on ascorbic acid.

See, the importance of water cannot be underestimated. It is the most natural and the most effective pain-reliever. It is nature’s very own medicine – and a very inexpensive one at that.
