have experienced significant mechanical issues with a new c9i. the bike is entirely smooth on the right side, but there is uneven on the left side downstroke. problem persisted after a number of service calls, and mfg apparently says this is "normal".

would not advise purchase of this model unless you try before you buy and the problem either does not exist or does not bother you.

tried their newer model, and one of the two i tried had the same issue.

Don't buy anything less; this machine is solid, comfortable, and if exercise can be pleasurable this thing does it. I'm delighted with the purchase and guarantee you'll be satisfied. Just be prepared for some assembly time; nothing serious but maybe 20 minutes to get it working. This one is the best.
